Texas Attorney General said, “Whether it’s a sex crime against a child or a financial crime against a consumer, cyber crime does real damage to real people.” “Working with Texans for Economic Progress and the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, the Office of the Attorney General is helping Texans not only understand the good that can be done through the Internet, but also be wary of its dangers for children and consumers.” said General Abbott.

Also speaking was Marseli Hancock, the President of iKeepSafe.org an online safety organization based in Washington, D.C. As technology evolves, online safety and security continue to be a priority for TEP as we continue to educate families, consumers and business-owners.
